"We don't teach girls about leadership and send them home. We put them in it — and watch them rise."
What to expect
More than sessions.
An experience.
Identity & Self-Awareness
Before we build skills, we build self-knowledge. Girls learn who they are, how they communicate, and what kind of leader they're becoming — through tools like DISC and facilitated self-reflection.
Guest Leaders & Exposure
Girls meet women who are leading in business, government, law, and community. Not as spectators — but in intimate circles where they ask real questions and have real conversations.
Community Service
Leadership is about service. Girls plan and participate in real community projects — and earn community service hours they can apply toward school requirements and college applications.
Skills That Go Beyond School
From communication and conflict resolution to civic engagement and financial literacy — girls walk away with tools they can use right now, in the hallway, at home, and in their communities.
Real Conversations
Every session creates space for girls to speak honestly, ask hard questions, and be heard. We don't do surface-level. We go deep — because that's where identity actually gets shaped.
Sisterhood & Community
Girls build real friendships, support one another through the hard sessions and the breakthroughs, and become part of a community that doesn't end when the cohort does.
The journey
Five phases.
One
transformation.
The cohort is built around a deliberate arc — each phase deepening what came before it. Girls don't just show up to sessions; they move through a process designed to take them somewhere.
Phase 1
January & February
Welcome + Foundation
Girls are welcomed into the cohort, build community with one another, and begin the foundational work of clarifying who they are and who they're becoming. January kicks off with an orientation, and February deepens the foundation.
Phase 2
March
Clarity + Voice
Girls explore how they show up — their communication styles, their strengths, and the impact they have on those around them. DISC self-awareness work happens here, led by a certified facilitator.
Phase 3
April
Skill Building + Exposure
Girls begin practicing leadership through workshops, service days, and hands-on experiences. They meet women leaders, try new things, and start seeing themselves in rooms they may not have imagined before.
Phase 4
May
Application + Community
Leadership in action. Girls apply what they've learned in their communities — through real conversations with real leaders, Bring Your Friend Day, and civic engagement opportunities.
Phase 5
June
Closing + Transition
The cohort closes with celebration, reflection, and a clear next step. Girls graduate — and are invited to continue their journey through Lights On Girls Membership.
Our curriculum
Built by us.
Built for them.
The Lights On Girls curriculum isn't licensed from somewhere else. It was created specifically for these girls — built around the belief that leadership identity comes before leadership skills, and that real growth happens through community, service, and practice.
Every session follows a deliberate arc: Reflect. Understand. Practice. Girls don't just receive information — they process it, discuss it, and apply it in real time.
Our curriculum was built specifically for girls navigating one of the most important seasons of their lives. Through reflection, discussion, service, and real-world leadership experiences, girls gain tools they can use now — not someday.
Leadership identity — not just skills
Self-awareness through DISC assessment
Service as a path to purpose
Real conversations with real leaders
Community built to last beyond the cohort
Who can join
A program built for
every girl in the room.
